Description
Mary Poppins was in need of a lot of magical special effects. Myself, along with the two other interns were tasked with making them happen. This included things like a magic cake that goes from unfrosted to frosted on stage in front of everyones eyes. Also a painting that Bert is magically able to pull a flower out of.
During the run of the show I was on Actor Flight Crew, Magic Crew, and was in charge of all the quick changes for the actor Jane. For Actor Flight crew myself and two other people were responsible for all the flights of Mary Poppins, Bert, and Miss Andrew. Magic Crew's purpose was to make sure all the magic tricks on stage happened correctly.
